- 18V Solution for Corded Power Demands
- Two 18V LXT Li-Ion batteries deliver the power and performance for corded demands without leaving the 18V LXT platform
- ADT (Automatic torque Drive Technology) adjusts speed and torque during operation for optimum performance
- AFT (Active Feedback sensing Technology) turns the motor off if rotation speed suddenly slows or wheel is forced to stop
- Electric brake stops the grinding wheel in 4.5 seconds or less for maximum productivity and increased operator safety
- BL motor delivers 6,000 RPM
- BL motor eliminates carbon brushes, enabling the BL motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer life
- BL motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50% longer run time per charge
- BL motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application
- Battery indicator shows overdischarge/overheat conditions
- Easy-to-grip, ergonomically designed handle with soft grip provides a sure and comfortable grip
- Anti-vibration rubber for less vibration
- Large trigger switch for easy operation
- Lock-off safety lever minimizes accidental start up
- Soft start suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and longer gear life
- Anti-restart function engineered to minimize motor start up when battery is inserted with switch locked on
- Battery guard protects batteries from damages
- eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) is engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions
- Spiral bevel gears for smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. Battery protection circuit protects against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating. Side grip can be installed on either side of the tool for operator convenience. Wheel cover protects operator from accidental scattering of broken wheel or workpiece with minimal wheel cover movement. Spindle lock for easy wheel changes
