Bova Khumba Harness

The Bova Khumba is designed for the rope access and rescue business as well as for people who need to overcome obstacles during ascent or descent, perform a rescue, or work at heights where multiple functions are required. The D-ring at the waist serves as the main anchorage point, while the D-ring at the chest functions as a reserve rope anchorage point/attachment point for a vertical/retractable lifeline. The D-ring on the back allows the wearer to select the correct lanyard for their work requirements, and the plastic-covered loops on the shoulder straps improve the wearer’s safety by allowing them to rescue in confined spaces.

The waist belt includes two gear loops to which the wearer can attach tools. The two D-rings allow the wearer to attach a harness for work positioning, freeing up the wearer’s hands and increasing safety when working at height. The webbing has been treated with fire retardant properties to protect the wearer from flammability. All buckles, D-rings and the carabiner are made of aluminium, as the material is lightweight, corrosion resistant and low conductive.

Available in 4 sizes (S, M, L, XL), the harness features fully adjustable straps in the back, shoulder, waist and leg areas that allow the wearer to customize the fit for increased comfort. Comfort is further enhanced with additional padding around the wearer’s legs and waist. The included shoulder straps ensure that  pressure is distributed over a larger area.
